A critical brief for large flowing internal spaces that are all inter-connected, a requirement for control so that the spaces feel intimate and a desire to accommodate at least four families at once for a formal meal, delivers a residence of grand spaces.

The spaces are controlled with a series of detailed ceilings, a continual play of intricately assembled timber panels and large panels of glass. The floor plan revolves around a series of internal courtyards that interconnect each space. All internal space revolve around an outdoor eating area which can accommodate forty people.

Materials are used in their full size- whether sheets of veneer or marble. The residence is one where detail and execution are paramount.

The project is a turnkey project which involves the design and supply of all internal soft furnishings.

The residence features in Australia's Best House and is the recipient of several commendations.
